About us

FALCON is an European collaborative project funded by the Horizon Europe Framework Program for Research and Innovation (Clean, Safe and Accessible Transport and Mobility - HORIZON-CL5-2023-D5-01-09).

It associates a total of 15 partners and their affiliated entities from 6 countries in order to enhance the design capabilities of the European industrial aircraft sector, focusing on fluid-structure interaction phenomena to improve the aeroelastic performances of aircraft

FALCON will push the aeronautical industry in Europe towards noise and fuel reductions, and sustainability improvements of global air transport.

1 Maintain EU global competitiveness in aeronautics industry through the development of state-of-the-art numerical tools for testing and certification.
2 Quieter and smarter air transport (lower fuel consumption, reduced noise and sustainable airframe structures)
3 Reduced noise and air pollution in and around airports
