FALCON was promoted at the ECCOMAS 2024.
The 9th European Congress on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences and Engineering (ECCOMAS 2024) took place in Lisbon (Portugal) from 3 to 7 June 2024.
With more than 2000 participants, the ECCOMAS Congress is a biennial European Congress, providing a rendezvous for scientists and engineers from within Europe and around the globe. The main objective of these congresses is to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of state-of-the-art developments in scientific computing applied to engineering sciences.
Our partners Aix-Marseille Université (AMU) and Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) were present at the Congress to showcase their work and promote the FALCON project. They gave several talks on fluid-structure interaction, aerodynamics, and compressible flows.
These recent advancements are at the core of the FALCON project aiming at improving the aerodynamics and aeroacoustic properties of future aircraft.
